My grateful butterfly heart is fluttering from our Slay for Love Fundraiser! Thank you, Dr. Love, for saving my life 12 years ago. You are my hero!

Together, with the love and generosity of the The Slay Family, the support of our amazing donors who inspired an incredible raffle, and to all who attended and donated, we raised close to $10,000 to support the Foundation’s mission to fight breast cancer, to end this disease and change the world. The Dr. Susan Love Foundation’s groundbreaking research is impacting and saving lives.

With so much gratitude to Gale & David Slay, for their friendship and unwavering support. Thank you to their amazing crew of 15 who kept the delicious Italian courses coming & the wine flowing in the most beautiful setting in Manhattan Beach at Slay Italian Kitchen.

With so much love to the Redondo Union High School Theatre Arts Drama Club for making our event magical with a surprise flash a Capella performance of “All You Need Is Love”. It was a rare and unforgettable moment where time stood still.

Every day I wake up grateful to be alive, and for this chance I’ve been given to turn my own painful journey with breast cancer into joy, and for the love & support of my family & sweet friends, and for this amazing South Bay community for helping me lead the charge every October during breast cancer awareness month.

Sending love to all who attended our event and to all of our butterfly angels and to our butterfly warriors and survivors during this impactful breast cancer awareness month.
